what can you do with the band money besides giving it to the band members?

just let it accumulate over time and you will soon have enough to buy the bus

It is. But an actuall tour bus is far more expensive. Start out slow and then work up for the bigger stuff. At least with a van you can travel without hitching.

Keep touring. The main income for me these days are records.
Last update I received around 650.000 for record sales. And I "only" get around 10-15k per show (so far).

It's all a long way to go. First the characters, and with that the band, but then you need to tour, record etc etc etc.

I kept my mini van for ages, then I bought a Tour Bus, and when I started to really sell records, I got a Big Rig Truck (which I have now).

my band has agreed not to distribute the band money at all til we gain some fame. we've got about 900 bucks so far.

Thats how it should be.
You can not transfer money from character to band, so be careful with it.

I only distributed money like 2k each, if one needed a book, but nothing more until last week with all the crazy record sales (and we have the biggest bus available now anyway).

Our band gets a lot of money from gigs.
