depends on a few factors. the IQ of both the master/mistress & student, basic teaching helps the teacher too, and i'm not sure but the amount of stars the teacher has may affect the learning as well. can anyone confirm that for me?

EDIT: shouldn't take more than 3-4 days if i remember

Since you guys are talking about it i have a question about learning/teaching a skill.
Does it affect anything to be in a university while the update?

not that i'm aware of. i was teaching in caltech (LA) for about 2 weeks. i put myself there so potential students could find me quicker

I researched, and it seems it helps.

It will then take time to learn the skill. Sometimes it takes a long
time, and sometimes less - this depends a lot on luck. A
Master/Mistress of high intelligence and high level of skill in the
skill he/she is teaching helps. It is also helpful if you have a high
intelligence yourself, and if you are in a School, that also speeds up
the learning process (especially a good school). Interrupting the
learning process, for instance by moving away from your Master for a
few days, or choose a different career mission, does not affect your chances, once you resume learning.
