Well my big problem as of now, is getting the necessary skills. I have a one man heavy metal act and I play bass, only problem is I have no skills whatsoever beyond Heavy Metal (Got it from the Beginner Quest) and I got 3 stars in that which took a long time to get anyway. The books in London (Or most cities if I can assume) are ridiculously priced and my next pay check is going into getting an apartment. I have my hands full as it is.

If you find me (i'm currently in Ankara) i'll provide you basic sting instruments and play bass books and a bass guitar. Those two skills will take long time to train, while improving those you'll find time to save some money.

Hitching is free and never harms mood, prefer hitching as often as possible. Cold will go away in 3 or maybe 4 days after it comes..

I knew about the cold thing, I had it already. I got it about 2 days ago so I'm in the clear. I'll try hitching and see what happenes. Is there a direct rout to Ankara or do I need to go through other cities?

You may see a popomundo map at 'community' page. From London, try to hitch Paris, then Barcelona and Rome, probably we can meet at Dubrovnik.

You need to go through different cities possibly.
Please find the Popomundo Travellers Guide under Community, and check the Popomundo Map to see how everything goes.

Click on a city and you will see the routes it has, and how long it takes to get to another city.
If you click and drag your mouse a little bit, the lines will be permanent, so play around :)

I'm at the London-Paris route now. The only thing to do now is wait.

Hell yeah, nice reply for Simon. All you have to do is going to a route and wait for a tour bus. It might be a good idea to check for the bus movements from the local terminal. If it says a band will be on the road you're waiting at **:00, you'll be picked up by **:30.

Found one going to Paris at 20:00 and it's 19:15 right now. I got some waiting to do I guess.

Getting the road early effects your chance to be picked up before others waiting at road, also looks has something to do with this too.

Make a list of the things you'll need, post here and get them when we meet.

I'll create an organization for touring soon, stay tuned.

Looks=Mediocre. Does that hurt my chances? I've been waiting since 19:15 so am I at risk?

List of things, My best guess.

1.Basic String Instruments
2. Bass Guitar
3. Basic Showmanship
4. The singing ones( Basic and lead. I'm the vocalist and bass guitarist for my band)
Anything else I should have?

This should keep you busy skilling up for quite a while ;)
The list looks good enough to start with.
You should try to get 5* in Heavy Metal first as well.

Mediocre looks should do the trick. I never had much problems with hitchhiking before, and I never paid much attention to looks back in the days.

I do hope you're catching one at 21:00 now, to prove me wrong.

Theres one coming around at 20:00 and it's heading to paris. I'm waiting on that one. Thing is, i won't be on for the next 5 hours in about a half hour. I can only get to paris today then move on to my next desitnation when I get back. Plus, I already got 3* in heavy metal but I have below average IQ and it'll take me a while.

Better looks you have with compared the other guys waiting on road, better chance to picked up -as far as i know.

You'll get Basic Sting and Singing with a bass guitar for now since our budget is a little bit limited for now, will provide showmanship and lead singing when we met again. As i said, i'm planning a tour with GHAA organisation so we'll be all together after mid august i hope.

I advice you to not to spend the band's money. It's precious since you can buy a tour bus through band's money only and unluckyly transfer from your pocket to band is not allowed. Set your first aim as buying a tour bus, it'll greatly help.

How much do you earn weekly?

Hmm. I could hire you as a bartender in Montreal (I will explain how that works when you need that) at one of my Modern Rock clubs, or you could ask your boss for a raise. The maximum wages for bartenders are somewhere between 900 and 1500, depending on the city you work in.

(I usually do raise wages for the people as well, and most owners don't have to complain about money. If they're not making enough, they're doing something wrong).

Sounds good. I like your option a bit better. I'm in Paris right now and am on my way to the next city on my list. I"m stuck between Paris and Barcelona right now so I'll be there later then I expected.
