Meh, try finding the song Jordan from Buckethead, featured in Guitar hero 2.

That guitar solo is one nasty bit of art. Its amazing.
And of course Herman Li from Dragonforce. Amazing solos.

Oooh, I have something else I want to share with the people who like rock/metal etc.

This Swedish band called Machinae Supremacy have this Nintendo-Metal style thing going on. The vocals are rather weird, but you get used to it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmkjOAuVRpg

Theres a vid with one of the best songs in it.

http://www.machinaesupremacy.com/webography.html

Also, they have a lot of their stuff online. Try listening to songs like Masquerade, Winterstorm and Escaping The Krut from there.
Its quite different from what you usually hear Wink

I'm so bad with these kinda topics, I'm always afraid I forget something. Lately I'm listening to Senses Fail, The Used, The Sounds, Turbonegro, Manowar, Atreyu, Underoath, but that's absolutely no reason to state what kind of music I listen to.

All time favorites are the Bloodhound Gang, Placebo, Manowar, Turbonegro, Slayer, followed by maaaaaaaaaany many many many bands.

scrolling through my mp3 player and top bands there:
Angerfist, Avril Lavigne, Beasty Boys, Billy Talent, Bon Jovi, Cradle of Filth, Cryptopsy, Dead Kennedy, Dev/Null, the Exploited, Faithless, Finch, Gamma Ray, Gravy Train, Gride, Guano Apes, Hole (and then the battery died...)
All alphabetical, no other order.

Ok, genres then Razz
Metal, Punk (the really loud stuff, poppunk doesn't do it for me), Classic Rock (love the Stones, but also Deep Purple, Europe, Maiden), some pop, and I'm a big fan of electronica music like Hardcore, Breakcore, GOA, dance etc etc. I'm a big fan of soundtracks as well, for some reason..

Saw them live a few weeks ago, good stuff! They were way better on Sziget, Hungaria in 2005, but still great show!

Heard the new album? Awesome songs there!

now this band is my FAVORITE... ween...

i'm seeing them august 11th and i'm already counting down the hours. literally.

i had to buy an external hard-drive for my computer, just to keep all my ween... i've got days worth.

it's not that they are the most talented band out there, they just fit my definition of awesome in everyway.

here's some of their stuff...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1zL13LvxS8
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yarfOFdopQ0
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kkJPiTIyZ8

search them up for more, that is if you like them. typically people either love em or hate em.
