| Hello to everyone. I'm a starting out modern rock artist. As of now, I am a solo act but I am thinking of joining/forming a band. As of now, I have only one skill and that is in the history of modern rock. I want to be a drummer/composer-songwriter. If you could help out, it'd be much appreciated. Could you also give me advice on other topics. Well thank you in advance | |

| Hey Jason, welcome to the GHAA. The forum is a bit dead right now, but it'll liven up. If you want, you can join my newbie Modern Rock band Outlaw. We already have a Drummer and an Electric Guitarist.
If you would want to join, I have spaces for an Acoustic Guitarist, a Bass Guitarist, a Keyboard Player, and a Lead Singer.
Whatcha say? | |

| Sure men thanks for inviting but I haven't got any skills yet so I may be a bit of a drag in your band. If I could, I want to be the bass guitar or a singer. If you could let me join, I'll do my best. | |

| Yes, we can. If you have your doors UNlocked. When the doors are locked, only people with Criminal Skills can come in through housebreaking, and of course there is a penalty on that :) | |

| Oh thank you for answering that. Anyways, does someone have some spare books. I'm quite short on skills so if anyone can give me a book or become my master/mistress, it'd be much appreciated | |

Now we just need a Keyboardist! Because, you know, screw Acoustic Guitar.

| We don't really need an Acoustic Guitarist. We already have Bass and Electric. | |

| well, i think that the more, important roles we can have in the band, will help boost the band allot compared to just the ones we think we need and not having the ones we don't think we need.
basicly, i think the more people that are in the band, playing the different roles, will help us alot. so, that more people, the better the band. |

| I will get you the books Jason :)
When I hit New York I will fix that for you all.
And Simon, you dont NEED the instruments :)
When I had five members, this was my line-up; Piano / Lead Vocals Electric Guitar / Dancer Bass Guitar / Backup Vocals Acoustic Guitar / Backup Vocals Drums / Turntables
As you know I fired #3 and 4 lately. And it does not negatively influence us :) Of course it looks nice if you have a balanced band like that. I did it for the same reason ;)

| He currently took another job in another club. He needs to be fired there before I can hire him (but I think I will hire him for my Montreal club).
To be hired in another city, you need to go to the City Hall and sign up for welfare. I can then hire you wherever I want to :) But! Please beware: when going on welfare, make sure both you and your new employer are online and communicating to make this happen. Otherwise other owners/CEOs can hire you. Ask Anthony ;)
