Well not quite sure what I need, books I suppose and an Idea of how to get a gig (my mom wants me to go out and play :P ). Some idea of what to take to a gig basicly know how this stuf works.

But will drag my sorry as into the manual section first and see what I can find there :)

mmm ok my first q
so I am right now a solo act so does that mean in writing songs I should stick with one instument (like piano or something like that)
and lead voice cause I can't play more then one if I was ever to play a gig.

And mom keeps telling me to play a gig when is a good time to start tinking about doing that?

Welcome !

Anytime. Since your mom won't follow you till the club, you can 'play' a show without any song  : ) Just go to a club in your town with your genre (prefer ones with low quality, see bottom of list), take a look at shows and at the bottom of the page and arrange your own. That's all.

And uhm, Anthony, why should someone prefer a low quality club?

The higher the quality, the more tickets they will sell, the faster their fame rises. Or am I missing something?

Clayton, I think he means that in poor quality clubs you can arrange a show by yourself (open invitations), and on short notice :)


I may just add that I played twice on such conditions and both times I played to the bartenders.

just that I was wondering don't I need like a gitaar or something like that?

And that will take me a week or so to get I think
(just got my first paycheck and still can not affort books or a gitaar or anything like that )

so Made it to Rome

Now what?

You can move to Dubrovnik, Anthony will be there in 2 days.
Or you can set up a show 3 days from now in Rome, and wait for Anothony to be there in 4 days to handle the items :)

How can I set up a show for 3 day's from now if I don't have the insuments I need, and he's gonna help me with that in 4??

You dont need instruments to perform. You dont have to have a stage role, you dont need to jam your songs, nothing.

Just make sure you book it, and request a lowered ticketprice.
It will end up Abysmal or something low, but you get a few dollars, and it starts your fame in that country.
