Seems like that's covered now. Make some money with shows. They should be becoming nice. Try to always keep your songs fully jammed.

i only have eight songs in my repertoire... half of them are covers and the only songs i have written came out pretty bad. i almost have them fully jammed, but i'm wondering if i should start writing new, better songs instead. my musicality is now decent.

i've been working on exercising at the gym/shopping and improving my skill in basic stringed instruments. should i just keep improving my instrument skills and jamming or should i start to work on writing new songs?

I would wait a bit with the songs still.
Once your fame gets to the point of being able to release a single, you might want to have the great qualities to write a good one.

nah nah, i haven't branched off and learned as many varying skills as jonathan... but thank you for the compliment!

just had a below average show in LA

so far sold over 1k tickets with a month to go before my first concert. Got fame to Horrendous in France as well. next week Clara & I will be jamming like crazy. She is currently skilling up Basic Composing and just wrote her first mediocre song. I'm skilling up basic singing then going to learn lead vocals at NYU

Wow you've really made progress. So far in our band, things got slower because of Simon's limited connection. I just hope it won't affect the tour

i've been thinking about that. i don't want to make any changes until after the ghaa tour... but after, a new member with some skill in songwriting would be a huge help.

question...

would it be best to get 5* in basic strings before skilling up play the bass guitar? or should i just get 3*...

personally, i would think once you get 3* in strings get the book to play the bass and read it while you skill strings to 5*

the book to play Bass is pretty cheap. i think i paid about $500 or so when i bought mine
