PostSubject: Big things happening   Big things happening EmptyThu Aug 23, 2007 4:21 pm

My popoself is turning more and more real...

today I bought myself a DOG !

It's a greyhound, which is a lovely racedog. If you don't know what a greyhound is... hum, think of a dog with thin hips, strong chest and front paws (it's a runner!) and that is so, so ugly... it's cute Smile

I can't come up with a name, though.

I'll think it over while I shower.

I named her after the italic goddess of spring, Maia Maiestas. And that's not me who's standing behind her at the picture above. He's her vet.

Ghehe, have fun with it Very Happy.
I really should get a dog myself, but can anyone tell me the advantages, and how I can take care of it, so it'll live as a prince? Smile

It makes you happy (you recieve 1% mood boost when you spend for it) and money is taken from your pocket automatically. You don't need to do smt. Just be sure that you always have enough money for its expenses. If you fail to cover expenses, due to lack of food your friend will experience hard days and depending on its specie, it'll probably die. (hamsters dies at the first time when you fail to buy them food, elephants immune to poverty more than hamsters, naturally : )

They usually spend around 30-60$. I have a rabbit (it's still locked up in our tour bus, probably ate all the shirts inside : ) and a labrador, i never saw they needed more than 200$ per week per friend.

However i don't know if big friends (like pandas : ) needs how much money for expenses.. Ask Clayton, he have a gothic animal : )

My dog "Simba"

After his surgery, playing on the grass:

Fucking weird close-up when upside down in the grass:

Some other "normal" pictures:

All pictures are from after his surgery in April 2006.
Not really good pictures but its the sweetest dog ever. Isn't really a dog anymore, more a part of the family.

PostSubject: Re: Big things happening   Big things happening EmptyTue Aug 28, 2007 3:08 pm

wow, needed my translator for this. Don't know the words in English.

Its a girl and when she had her menstruation, It kept bleeding too long. And already called the veterinary, and we could go by the next day. But the on the evening she fell, and couldn't stand up anymore. She was completely weak. So we took the car and went to the veterinary, he gave her something to stop bleeding. And the next day we could bring her in for a surgery. He had to took out everything, her uterus, ovaries.

And a week later it seems we had a new dog. All happy again, active again. Good thing everything went well at last.
